Recently, the Bluesign® audit team, a globally recognized authority in environmental certification for the textile industry, conducted a comprehensive two-day factory inspection at Hangzhou Giant Chemical Co., Ltd. The audit carried out in-depth verification covering six core dimensions of the company, namely corporate management system, product responsibility management, resources, environment, occupational health and safety, and emergency preparedness. Adopting rigorous requirements that far exceed the industry's conventional standards, the audit conducted a thorough and systematic assessment of Hangzhou Giant Chemical Co., Ltd. Compliance management and overall capabilities in sustainable development.
We are pleased to announce that our facility has fully met the Bluesign® Baseline and Development Level standards, and is now steadily progressing toward the Advanced and Excellence Level certifications. Building on this solid foundation of compliance, our company is positioned to become one of the very few Bluesign®-approved acid dye manufacturers in China. Nineteen of our products are scheduled to complete registration and officially launch in three months.Capitalizing on this imminent certification achievement, we are now officially launching a global recruitment initiative for end-market partners.

In terms of legal compliance, the audit team not only verified the completeness and validity of qualification documents but also conducted an in-depth "traceability" review against the world's highest regulatory standards. This involved examining emission monitoring data from the past year, compliance details in procurement contracts, and even compliance records over the last three years. For system management, the audit established a triple closed-loop of "documentation–on-site practice–data," eliminating disconnects between written procedures and actual operations to ensure every process is traceable and verifiable.
The on-site audit was conducted with millimeter-level precision, thoroughly examining workshops and laboratories. It focused on details such as ventilation and dust removal, temporary waste storage, equipment calibration, and reagent management, where even the slightest oversight could impact the audit outcome. The labor safety review went beyond physical safeguards and training to include employee psychological well-being and livelihood security, achieving an upgrade from "passive protection" to "active safeguarding."

Resources and Environment:Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction, Results as Priority
Resource utilization audit focuses on energy consumption data, the effectiveness of recycling, and source prevention and control measures, rejects formalism, and emphasizes actual performance.Environmental protection audit strictly oversees the compliance of waste monitoring and disposal, and strives to achieve zero environmental pollution impact.
Health Safety & Emergency Preparedness: Full-Cycle Management and Practical Drills
The on-site audit penetrated into the frontlines of workshops and laboratories with "millimeter-level" precision, conducting in-depth verification on details such as the operational efficiency of ventilation and dust removal systems, the standardization of waste temporary storage, the accuracy of equipment calibration, and the full-process management of reagents. Under the stringent assessment criteria, any minor oversight could directly affect the determination of the audit result. In the dimension of occupational health and safety, the audit not only covered basic protection aspects including the compliance of safety sign posting, the standards for provision and use of labor protection equipment, and the frequency of safe operation training, but also incorporated employees' psychological safety status and living security conditions into the evaluation system, realizing an upgrade from "passive protection" to "proactive guarantee".For the emergency preparedness audit, random simulated emergency scenarios were set up to comprehensively test the enterprise's comprehensive response capabilities in terms of emergency plan activation, command and coordination, rapid resource deployment, and follow-up disposal in a practical manner. This ensures that the enterprise can respond quickly, effectively and orderly in real emergency situations.

Building a Shared Future Through Audit-Driven Improvement
The audit fully demonstrated the high standards and authority of Bluesign® certification. Hangzhou Giant Chemical Co., Ltd. stated that it will take this audit as an opportunity to work toward the shared goal of responsible resource management, while attaching great importance to protecting human health and environmental cleanliness. By continuously optimizing management, advance toward the highest international green manufacturing standards, provide the global textile industry with more environmentally friendly and high-quality dye products, and promote sustainable development in the sector.
